Order Processing Timeline:
- 0-2 hours: Best window for changes
- 2-12 hours: Often still possible
- 12+ hours: May already be roasting
- After shipping: Cannot cancel, but we can help with returns

✅ Before Processing - Possible:
- Cancel entire order
- Change shipping address

❌ After Processing - Not Possible:
- Any modifications (order is already being roasted)
- Cancellations (coffee is being made fresh for you)
- Adding discount codes
- Partial cancellations
- Shipping changes

Understanding where your order is:
"Order Confirmed" ✅ Can cancel or modify - contact us immediately!
"Processing/Roasting" ❌ Too late to cancel or modify - your coffee is being freshly roasted
"Fulfilled/Shipped" ❌ Cannot cancel or modify - see our return policy
❓ Frequently Asked Questions
"I forgot to use my discount code!"
Unfortunately, we cannot apply discount codes after an order is processed. Double-check for discount codes before completing your order!
"Can I cancel just one item from my order?"
Once processing begins, we cannot make partial cancellations as your entire order is roasted together. Contact us BEFORE processing begins if you need changes.
"I accidentally ordered ground instead of whole bean!"
Contact us immediately! If your order hasn't begun processing, we can fix this. Once roasting starts, we cannot make changes.
"What if I need to change my subscription order?"
For subscription modifications:
- Future orders: Change anytime in your account
- Current processing order: Cannot be modified or cancelled
- Upcoming order: Must modify 24+ hours before roast date
"I entered the wrong shipping address!"
Contact us immediately! We can only update addresses BEFORE processing begins. Once roasting starts, address changes are not possible.
"Can I add more coffee to my existing order?"
Only if your order hasn't begun processing. Once roasting starts, you'll need to place a separate order.
Store Credit Information
When you cancel an order (before processing):
- Store credit issued: Added to your account immediately
- Credit amount: Full order value
- No expiration: Use your credit whenever you're ready
- How to use: Automatically applied at checkout on future orders
If your order has already been processed:
- No cancellations possible: Coffee is being roasted fresh for you
- Returns: See our return policy for options
- Quality issues: Contact us and we'll make it right with store credit

Subscription Orders
Special rules for subscriptions:
- Modify future deliveries: Anytime in your account
- Current processing order: Cannot be modified or cancelled
- Skip or pause: Must be done 24+ hours before roast date
- Change frequency: Updates apply to future orders only
